The LT3BC series features high-performance LED backlights designed to provide high-power light output, excellent uniformity and contrast thanks to high-efficiency LEDs.
LT3BC backlights integrate a built-in smart driver and feature a standard 5-pin M12 connector with PNP/NPN/analog dimming input.
This makes them ideal both for continuous (light intensity 100%, duty cycle 100%), boosted (light intensity 200%, duty cycle 50%, Ton 60s) and strobe (light intensity 500%, duty cycle 10%, Ton 10ms) mode operations and provides great application flexibility.
The integrated temperature sensor ensures automatic shut-down in case of overheating.
When placed behind objects to be inspected, LT3BC backlights effectively highlight their silhouette, providing high illuminance and excellent image contrast, which makes them ideal for even the most demanding high-speed measurement and inspection applications.
Their special design provides both powerful and uniform lighting in a compact and robust housing, suitable for industrial environments.
In addition, M4 side threads allow for quick and easy mounting.
LT3BC backlights feature a wide range of compatible accessories, including polarizing filters (see PLLT series) to reduce reflections, transparent protective covers (see PCLT series) and collimating filters (see CLLT series) emitting high directional light beams designed to further enhance image contrast in accurate measurement applications.
The modular design also offers a wide choice of sizes and colors for many different application needs.

LT3BC backlights integrate a smart driver that allows to operate in three different modes: the continuous mode, the boosted mode and the strobe mode.

Auto-switch function
If maximum Ton times are exceeded, LT3BC backlights automatically reduce power to avoid compromising the life of the LED as schematized in the following figure:
The auto-switch is activated when the maximum Ton = 10 ms is reached.
