As you may have noticed, we’ve been suspiciously quiet in the past weeks: while gearing up for a certain exhibition, we took the venerable TC2M/TC4M series and completely redesigned it: the result well deserves the high resolution (HR) label, raising the bar for telecentric-based measurement applications.

The TC2MHR/TC4MHR telecentric lenses represent a major upgrade to the classic TC2M/TC4M series: as our customers call for repeatable and increasingly demanding quality control systems, we have greatly improved the whole series, packing enhanced optical performance in a more compact size.

This new design offers:

• Higher resolution and compact size.
• Best performance to price ratio.
• New M42x1 mount option.

Like their non-HR cousins, these lenses target sensors up to 22 mm diagonal. The improved resolution, higher telecentricity and low distortion enable this lens to accurately inspect large glass panels, LCD screens or perform measurements of mechanical parts like engine shafts, rotors and pipes. We also extended the available mount options, adding the M42X1 mount (flange distance 16 mm), referenced with the -E suffix. The full models matrix is available at the TC2MHR/TC4MHR product page.
